Loukeris/I. Tsamardinos Dr. Paul Selzer is a research executive with more than twenty years of scientific leadership and management at the University and Pharmaceutical Industry level. Currently, he is heading MSD's (Merck Animal Health) global Molecular Discovery Sciences team, which comprises Computational Sciences, Compound Logistics, Assay Development and High Throughput Drug Screenings. His research is involved in Anti-infectives and Anti-parasitics in Human and Animal Health. As well as this Dr. P. Selzer is also editing the book series Drug Discovery in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Selzer's professional experience is broad covering the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Modelling, Chemoinformatics. Being in parallel a visiting Professor at the University of Tübingen, Germany and an Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow, UK, Dr. Selzer constantly aims at building interactive networks at the national and international level between Industry and Academia. |
